History

Jimenbuen came to be owned by the Glasson family in 1939 when John Russell Glasson made the decision to move to the Monaro from Blaney and purchased the property off Charles Crisp.  Maybe say something about what it like back in those days in comparison to now???  In x, John died of x, followed tragically by Vera's death 12 months later leaving Mark, John and Vera's youngest son to run the property with his with Pam and their three young children.

David Glasson, along with his wife Jane and two children, Jack and Sarah, moved into the homestead and took over the operation of the business from his parents in 198??.  David and Jane endured years of debilitating drought, but despite this kept the bloodline alive thanks to the property's access to water and Dave's tireless effort to feed his sheep.  ?????

In 2010, Jack and Christie, temporarily moved back to Jimenbuen to give David and Jane a well deserved break and after falling in love with the farm and the life that accompanied it, decided to make it permanent in 2012.  Since then Jack and Christie and their sons, Tom and Max, have continued to develop the Jimenbuen bloodline with the help of expert classer Craig Wilson and modern technology.  ????
